Event date: 6/23/2017 Export event

For members of the Big Pocono Ski Club, how about a “Shoot Out”? It doesn’t matter if you are experienced with pistols or a real novice that is just curious about learning to shoot.
We have a great opportunity to develop and/or fine tune your skills and have real fun doing it. On Friday, June 23 at 2pm, we will meet at the Pocono Pistol Range, 85 North 1st Street, Stroudsburg, Pa 18360. Safety is always 1st, so the experts at the range will provide a gun safety overview and training. Afterwards we will have an opportunity to get some target practice. Hey guys, they tell me the ladies are always the best shot. Sounds like a challenge doesn’t it? And for you cowgirls, let’s see what you’ve got. For a mere $65, the range will provide the pistols, the ammunition and the range time. Of course you can also bring your own guns if you like. As a wrap up there will be a little friendly competition. No it won’t be a gunfight, but we will surely find out who is the best shot. So don’t miss this unique opportunity. We will finish up about 5pm.

Please contact Mitch Bowyer, 973-722-4229 or if you're interested. If you're not a member of the Club, we'll have membership applications available. Or you may contact Lillian Lasher, the membership chair, 570-629-1323 or in advance.

    Robin Trower

Penn’s Peak is proud to announce Robin Trower, Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 8:00 pm in Jim Thorpe PA.  The Robin Trower story started in the mid Sixties when he began his recording career in the Southend rhythm and blues band The Paramounts. But the first time Trower pinged on rock’n’roll’s radar was in 1967, with Procol Harum – house band of the Summer of Love. Though he did not play on their mega-hit ‘A Whiter Shade Of Pale’, he completed five albums and many tours with them before breaking away for a solo career in 1971.
