Laurie A. Guzda is the Creative Director of LAGuzda, Creative Arts & Services, a boutique agency for marketing, branding, PR and more, specializing in Hospitality. Laurie is an avid photographer, artist and writer.  She writes a monthly column, “Pocono Secrets” where she showcases photos along with interesting discoveries throughout the eastern part of Pennsylvania. In addition to winning several awards, Laurie’s photos have been featured in many publications locally and nationally. She also teaches comedy improv workshops. Karolene Hudock Carlson
Karolene runs a free-lance marketing business in Litchfield County Connecticut where she specializes in Social Media Marketing. She spent over 15 years as a Director of Marketing for Prudential Financial and American Skandia where she specialized in programs designed for top Investment Advisors.  Presently, she invests her energy in marketing local businesses, community leadership and fund-raising. Kari Kirk

The Pocono Mountains of Northeast Pennsylvania have been home to Kari Kirk for over two decades.  She raised her children here, and they've stayed in the Poconos to build careers in music and horse ranching.  

A lifelong reader, listener, research editor, and writer, Kari has contributed her expertise to trail guides; print, broadcast, and internet marketing; tourism and trade publications; undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate theses; business management; and, many community events.

Kari resides in Pocono Township with her partner, Steven, and their elderly rescued hounds, Gage and Roll.  She plays and teaches instrumental music, sings in a church choir, gardens, and creates hand-braided rugs.

Debbie Burke
With a long career in print production, PR, marketing and journalism (including being editor of the Pocono Business Journal), Debbie fulfilled her dream of authorship with the 2011 release of “The Poconos In B Flat.” She is the newsletter editor for the Pocono Mountain Arts Council. Her other love is jazz, and for the past eight years she has been playing alto saxophone in several community bands. She lives in Monroe County, PA with her husband, two children and their greyhound. George Leroy Hunter
George Leroy Hunter is a U.S.A. based photographer and writer. Photography has been a life-long passion of his ever since he was given his first camera by a neighbor as a young child.

Hunter did still photography and video work for stage and music productions during his school years but life took him in a few different directions career wise. He is no one trick pony. He has worked for many companies including one of the biggest elevator design firms in the world all the while keeping up with the latest photography trends from the film era to the digital age.

Tricia McGarvin
Tricia McGarvin is a freelance web content writer and former broadcast journalist.  She was a contributing arts feature producer for National Public Radio’s Morning Edition and All Things Considered.  Tricia also created an afterschool literary arts program for teens in Monroe County, called Urban Mountain Voices, where she conducted weekly workshops in writing and performance of spoken word poetry.  She presently resides in Carbon County.

Katie Filicky's (MS in Publication Management, Drexel University) writing has appeared in newspapers, websites, anthologies, magazines, product labels, and more.  Her manuscript is currently being submitted for publication. Erin L. Delaney is a digital content and product copywriter who loves hiking, taking macro photos and writing poetry. Amber Stahl

Amber Stahl is a Chemical Engineer turned farmer who manages a small scale permaculture plot in Stroudsburg, PA.  She writes about her first generation farming experience on her Poconos themed site,

She was the Rachel Carson scholar recipient at The Pennsylvania State University, which has since inspired her free Instagram book, #TheStoryOrganic.  She enjoys documenting her experiences in the Poconos as she discovers all that the agricultural community has to offer.

Kelley Andrade is a Pocono area reporter with a background in music and entertainment writing. Armed with coffee, a camera and notebook she tackles everything from hard-hitting news to restaurant reviews, musician interviews and local happening updates.
