Tannersville, Pa. – December 13, 2016 – Camelback Resort will open for day and night skiing and snowboarding on Thursday, Dec. 15, officially launching its 53rd ski season. The Snowtubing Park, the largest in the nation, will open on Saturday, Dec. 17. Operating hours, ticket pricing, trail and lift status, web cam and snow report are available at Camelbackresort.com.
“We’re experiencing ideal snowmaking conditions and have been running the snowguns around the clock, allowing us to open more terrain literally day after day,” said Brian Czarnecki, vice president of sales & marketing. “We’ll open Thursday with really fantastic conditions due to the man-made snow and the near foot of snow that has fallen already this season. With ideal snowmaking temperatures into late next week we anticipate excellent conditions and a fully opened mountain for the Christmas Holiday week.”
