Mohegan Sun Pocono is owned by the Mohegan Tribe of Indians in Connecticut and is one of the largest casino resort destinations in Pennsylvania. After acquiring the property in Nov. 2005, Mohegan Sun has seen continuous development and improvements that began in 2006 with the renovation of the grandstands located on the race track and the installation of slot machines behind the grandstands. In 2008, the tribe opened the main part of the casino and five years later, in 2013, the hotel, convention center and spa.
