Make it a night to remember with the Penn’s Peak Valentine’s Dinner Dance featuring the The Main Street Cruisers.  The menu offers Chicken Cordon Bleu, Roast Prime Rib, Maryland Crab Cakes, served with a cup of soup, salad, dessert and beverage.  A cash bar is also available.  Doors open at 5pm, dinner is served 5:30-7pm when the music begins by The Main Street Cruisers (7pm-9pm). And for something really different for Valentines Day, enjoy a show at the Mauch Chunk Opera House located at 14 West Broadway.  Built in 1881, and known for it’s amazing architecture, the Mauch Chunk Opera house started as a town hall featuring both an open-air farmer’s market on the first floor and a second story concert hall.  It later became a regular stop on the old Vaudeville Circuit.  May West and Al Jolsen performed there regularly.  Fast forward to the present and experience this live music concert venue.  You can buy tickets online or call the box office at 570-325-0249.
